The project for May is a CD Holder that fits your car's visor. Alternatively, you can leave off the elastic straps and adapt it to hange in your sewing room to hold your favorite embroidery CDs! In either case, this is a fun project that will give you a custom CD holder that anyone would love to have.

Learn how to make basic placemats and napkins, and a simple table runner in this introduction to sewing basics. Skills learned will include: cutting with a rotary cutter, ruler, and mat; straight lines and corners; basic quilting technique; decorative stitches.

Pant Fitting for Woven or Knits (ST Class 1 of 1)

Kathe Seiavitch will provide instruction for how to make
basic alterations to the Vogue #1197 pants pattern for knit
fabrics or McCall's 5537 Women's Pant in Three Lengths
for woven fabrics. This is a hands-on class limited to 4
people to ensure that everyone receives individual analysis.

Janome 350/350E Workbook (NT Class 1 of 1)

Workbook is a class designed to teach new machine owners how to maximize the use of their machine. Workbook classes are specific to particular machines and are available free of charge to those who purchase their machine from Keep Me In Stitches. For those who purchase their machine at another store there is a fee of $450 for single needle embroidery machines and $650 for multi-needle embroidery machines.

In order to provide individualized instruction, class size is limited. Please call in advance to reserve your space. It is very important that students bring their machine and all of the accessories received at time of purchase. Students may need to purchase a workbook for this class. Workbook costs vary.
